Welcome to Petöre ("we," "us," "our," or "the Company"), accessible at petore.ca. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. General

Petöre is an online retailer offering pet products for cats and dogs, operating out of Canada and shipping to customers in Canada and the United States. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the website.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province/state of residence, to place an order on this website. By using our website, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Products and Pricing

All product descriptions, images, and prices are subject to change without notice.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colors and details accurately, but we do not guarantee that your device's display will be accurate.
Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise noted. Applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or technical error, we reserve the right to cancel any order placed for that product, whether or not the order has been confirmed.

4. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) in your cart. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase through our approved payment methods.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information. We are not liable for delays or non-delivery resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.

5. Shipping

We offer free shipping on orders over $45 CAD (before taxes). Orders below this threshold are subject to standard shipping fees, calculated at checkout.
Estimated shipping and delivery times are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, customs processing (for international orders), weather, or other factors outside our control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

6. Refunds

We have a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. A simple change of mind, or damage caused by the customer, will not be accepted for a refund.

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your returned item, and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at petore.shop@gmail.com.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-refundable items

Certain items cannot be refunded, including: perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept refund requests for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific item.

We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on sale items or gift cards.

7. Product Use and Safety

Our products are intended for use with domestic cats and dogs as described in the product listing. You are responsible for:

Supervising your pet's use of any product, particularly items such as collars, grooming tools, or accessories.
Discontinuing use and consulting a veterinarian if your pet shows signs of discomfort, allergic reaction, or injury related to a product.
Following any included usage instructions.

We are not liable for injury, illness, or damage resulting from misuse, improper supervision, or use of a product in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Petöre name and branding, is the property of Petöre or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petöre shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or products purchased, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages related to your pet's health or wellbeing, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) in question.
